Production designer Stuart Craig, who was nominated once again for an Academy Award his work in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows: Part I, spoke to the BBC recently about his career in film, and work on the Harry Potter series for ten years. Craig briefly discussed what it was like the final day of filming Deathly Hallows last year, and how emotional that particular day was. His discussion on the Harry Potter series begins at around 4:30 into the interview.
“The extraordinary thing is this franchise is ten years old,” he said.
“The fact that we’re still competing for awards on that level is very, very gratifying,” he added.
